Cristina's Counseling and Recovery
Welcome! I’m Cristina Nañez.
Tired of feeling stuck in your recovery journey? It’s time for a new approach.
If you’re battling trauma, addiction, an eating disorder, or just feeling lost- I know how it feels to be told that your issues are “too complex” or that you’re just “too broken” to fix.
I’ve worked with so many people who have been disappointed by therapy in the past—people who felt unheard, misunderstood, or let down by unprofessional providers. I get it, and I’m here to tell you that this time can be different.
When we work together, we’re not just going through the motions. We’re diving into the heart of what’s holding you back—together. I’ve helped countless clients, just like you, break free from the cycles of pain, addiction, disordered eating and toxic habits. Many of them are now living free, healed, and empowered lives. You can be one of them!
I offer virtual therapy and recovery coaching that’s not only professional but deeply compassionate. My solution-focused approach is tailored to your unique needs, and I’m committed to helping you build the life you deserve—no matter where you are in the U.S.
If you’re ready to invest in your mental and emotional health, I offer affordable sessions at $150. You’ll receive personalized support every step of the way. This is your chance to heal on your own terms, with the right guidance, from someone who truly cares about your recovery.
Don’t let past disappointments hold you back. Let’s work together to make this the time you break through. Click the Book now button to schedule a session on my calendar today, and let’s begin your journey toward lasting change!
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and Recovery coach Supervised by B.J. Barksdale, NCC, LPC-S. Throughout my career I have provided in-person, virtual, live-in support and recovery coaching for mental health across the United States impacting adults and adolescents struggling with eating disorders, addiction, depression, anxiety, family conflict, personality disorders and overall life adjustments.
I am bilingual and can provide sessions in Spanish as well.
My Approach
Solution-Focused
When seeking therapy, people are looking for answers instead of cycling through the same feelings. My solution-focused approach allows me to help you find the blind spots in your perspective so you can create a realistic plan on how to move forward in your life.
Harm Reduction
Whether you are dealing with addiction, self-harm, or self-damaging habits, I am here to meet you where you are at. Abstinence is not my goal if its not yours. Gradually reducing use and reducing harm has shown better results for long term recovery. My approach will allow you to make mistakes without judgement or punishment. We can learn how to reset together and continue to move forward.
Results
My approach has led almost all of my clients to experience the healing they wanted in just a few sessions. Therapy is not meant to last forever. My goal is to lead you to recovery and give you the skills to maintain a healthy life without me in a year or less. The quicker we create new habits, the quicker you get your life back.

About Me
![](https://ccounselingrecovery.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/IMG_0216-768x512.jpg)
I’ve been working in the mental health field for 9 years now. My first counseling job was working with offenders in prison and I felt myself become completely passionate about the impact I was creating. After prison, I worked with foster care kids and their families, provided counseling for adolescents in the residential setting, managed and developed programs to treat addiction, managed an eating disorder residential facility, provided live-in support for clients and their families struggling with all types of mental health issues, traveled around the United States to provide recovery coaching, and eventually opened my own practice.
